It's Time

Tim and I were packing the boys and suitcases into the van after our hotel stay.  The sun was out the heat was up. After getting Jackie buckled in, Tim put his hands on his hips, looked around, and declared,

"It's time."

"Yes, it is," I replied.

"You don't even know what it's time for."

"Yes I do," I countered back, "It's time to go and buy a Slip N Slide."

That was exactly what he was thinking.  That's what marriage to your best friend will do for you, folks.  We (Tim) initiated the summer weather with a fresh lawn mow, a rearrangement of the backyard toys and a bringing of the wicker couch outside.  I helped by lounging on the couch and watched as Tim put together our new fire pit.  Ah, summer.

We also went to Target to buy a Slip N Slide.
