Easter

I know, I know, Easter was a few months ago, but we've been a teeny bit busy lately.  Flying back to North Dakota to find a house, driving to California to go on a cruise, packing up our house, driving to ND and unpacking has kept me a little busy.

We are finally feeling settled.  I've unpacked, organized, cleaned and recleaned our house.  Now I can finally get back to blogging.

Easter was fairly low key for us.  After church, we ate dinner and then orchestrated an egg hunt for the boys.  They promptly gorged themselves on sugar, got their high and then crashed.  Normal Easter stuff.

Jack insisted on unwrapping every single piece of candy even though he only ate a handful.

Christmas Day

Yeah, we're mean.  We made them pose before coming down to see the presents.
Christmas Cokes!
The spoiling of two little boys.

It was a very merry day.  Even the pets had fun.  See?

A Washington Christmas

So yeah, this is a totally belated post.  But the posting motivation just hit me so here goes.

Guess what I got for Christmas???

SOMEONE got the blue skater shoes he asked for.
Sadly, I got the camera at the end of the Western Washington portion of our trip.  So the only Hansen pictures I found on my camera were of my mom in her pajamas.  I'm pretty sure she would kill me for posting those.  Your welcome Mom.

Here's what the Eastern Washington portion involved:
 Cousins!

Pig piles on Uncles
Snow ball fights

Snuggling with Meemaw
Tim stealing MY camera
Exhaustion, resulting from a no-nap day
Helping Papa shovel the driveway
The deep pondering of the meaning of life.
Stay tuned for our Idaho Christmas.

Easter Sunday

Last Sunday we spent Easter with good friends.  The kids LOVED the egg hunt and promptly gobbled down pretty much their entire stash before we realized what was going on.  Oh well, I guess we kept the sugar high to one day only.

Easter Egg Hunt

Last Saturday we went to the Boise Zoo for an Easter Egg hunt.  The boys seemed to have fun even though they didn't get any eggs and most of the animals were hiding.  They were satisfied with seeing the monkeys jump around (pretty much the only animal awake) and with the lone piece of candy in their baskets.

The highlights were the bouncy house, the giraffe slide, digging for dinosaur bones and going out to lunch afterwards at Texas Roadhouse with Jimmy, Shannon and Holden.
