An Auntie and a Pie

Auntie Ryna came to visit for her spring break.  We were too busy having fun to take pictures.  I did document a blueberry pie they made and ate together.  Luke and Jack came up with the idea and Auntie Ryna made it happen.

Camano

Last week, we trekked up to Washington and spent some time with my parents and Ryna.  We hung out all week at one of our most favorite places in the whole world.

The sun even came out for most of the week.  We were totally spoiled.

It was crabbing, fishing, rock-throwing, ice-cold swimming galore!

We loved it.

Clementine loved it.

We even got to celebrate Auntie Ryna's birthday a little early with some Red Velvet Cake.

It was a pretty great week, if I must say so myself.

Even if it did end with a transmission failure.

Visit with Auntie Ryna

Two weeks ago, Auntie Ryna came to visit.

We had so much fun, I forgot to take very many pictures.

We went to the water park, canned hot beans, went running, got in water fights, competed in backyard Olympics and tons of other fun stuff.

We miss her.

But for now, we'll just look at these pictures and pretend she's still here.
