I'm glad you're liking the book even as you're finding it challenging — I'm in a similar boat. <br /><br />I think I've always been a heart-on-my-sleeve person. It's hard to hide my feelings and not be vulnerable . . . but the feelings of embarrassment and shame often follow right afterward and I wonder why I put myself out there. So my solution, when things get hard, is to go off on my own for long period, submerge, hide behind distance.
